In Urbana, his father was George Heller and he had three sisters, Alice, Joshie, & Tilly. Fred was born in 1880 and he married my Great Grandmother in 1923 her name was Barbara Francis Hardin. He was married 2 times before he was married to my Great Grandmother and had three other children by his previous wifes, his first wifes maiden name was Bailey. My Grandmother never knew her father and she has always wanted to know more about his family.

In the 1850 OH, Champaign County census, he is married to Mary (I believe her maiden name was HAINES) and the child is Sanford Q, 1 month. Also living with them was Sarah Spain (likely Theodrick's mother) In the 1860 Iowa, Mahaska County census, Mary Spain is the head of household and the children are Sanford Q, Le(anosa?--female), Sarah E (Eliza), and Theodrick. I would love to hear from anyone else researching this family!
