Funeral services for Lisa Bryant Teamer will be Saturday, August 13, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at Mother Zion Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Murray Martin, eulogizing.

She passed away Monday, August 1, 2016, at her home in Houston, Texas. 

She leaves to mourn, her loving parents, Jerry Bryant Sr. and Shirley Faye Bryant of Bay City; three brothers, Jerry Bryant Jr., Gary Bryant Sr. (Ellen), and Terry Bryant Sr. (Kim), all of Bay City; two sisters, Shelia Annette Bryant of Van Vleck and Valerie Brinkley (Vincent) of Bay City; uncles, John Bryant (Dorothy), Sebron Bryant Jr. (Menchie), Henry Bonner Jr. (Doris), and special uncle, Frank James Jr.; aunts, Erma Jean Caesar (Henry), and Ernestine James (Arthur Sr.); three special aunts, Aunt Willie Bonner (Nip),  Betty Moore and Sarah Gipson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Burial will follow immediately after services at St. John Cemetery in Van Vleck, Texas.

Roy Lester Thompson

Funeral services for Roy Lester Thompson, 51, of Galveston will be held 1 p. m. Saturday at St. John Baptist Church in Van Vleck with the Rev. Isaiah Gartica officiating. Burial will be at St. Johns Cemetery in Van Vleck. Visitation will be until 9 p. m. today at Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home, 1300 Duncan St.

Mr. Thompson was born Dec. 31, 1941 in Van Vleck and he died in Jan. 12, 1993 at his home in Galveston.

He was a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Thompson of Galveston; a daughter, four sons; three grandchildren; four sisters, Alice Polk of Palacios, Joe Beth Casey, Jerry Gartica and Charlene Armstead of Bay City and a brother, Lonnie Grover of Harker Heights.

Arrangements are with Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home in Bay City.
