Nicholas BLASHINSKY(B.? D.?) m. Mary GAGNON (b. 5 Apr 1871 d. 5 May 1949 - Last name at death MENDEN) They had 7 children. Two were definately born in Green Bay, Brown Co. WI. John and Joseph (twins) b. 7 Feb 1892. Other children were Phillip, Michael, George, Mary, Elizabeth. Would like any additional info on any of these people especially Nicholas and Mary. At some point some of the family changed their name to BLASH.

Seeking any information about Lucinda M. (PORTER) ELLIS and her daughter, Eleanor M. REID. Lucinda was born c1827. She married her first husband, Archibald Reid c.1847 in Plympton Township, Lambton County, Ontario, Canada. Daughter, Eleanor, was born c 1848 in Canada. C1852, Archibald Reid, Lucinda and Eleanor moved to Muskegon County, MI. Archibald died in 1857. Lucinda married her second husband, James Hiram ELLIS in 1860. He died in 1862 and is buried in Muskegon. In the early 1870's, Lucinda sold a significant amount of property in North Muskegon. The deed stated that she and her daughter, Eleanor Reid were residing in Green Bay, Brown County WI. Extensive research has not revealed what happened to Lucinda (Porter) Ellis or her daughter, Eleanor Reid. Any help would be appreciated.

1. Sabena (Sabina) BARTLEIN (1874-1955) married George WILZ (1874-1940). 2. Emma Wilz (1877-1939), daughter of Napolean Wilz married Tony BOEHM. Their children include Mathilda ECKES, Katherine NILES, Barbara KUROWSKI SCHOMMER, Rozella (a.k.a. Sister Malfrieda), and Carl. 3. Willie Wilz married Elsie HESSELMAN. They had 2 children: Gertrude and Lawrence. These families lived in the area around Lake Winnebago and in the counties of Brown, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Outagamie, Sheboygan, and Winnegbago. NIENHAUS / NEWHOUSE Bernard Nienhaus moved his family to Brown Co. from Washington Co., between the 1860 and 1870 census. They lived in Morrison and owned property in Wrightstown. My Grandfather, Frank Newhouse was the son of Francis, one of Barney's six sons. I would appreciate any information about this family. Cir. 1900 Regina and Francis lived in Freedom, WI.

:The FELDHAUSEN family immigrated to Green Bay about 1851-1853. Did Nikolaus and Anna Maria REICHARTZ Feldhausen accompany their children: Jacob (m. Theresa VEESART), Anna Barbara (m. Emil ROTHE), Gertrud Anna (m. Jacob RODENHAUS, KS), Matthias Josef (m. Margaret HERMANN). There were 17 children; don't know who else came to Wisconsin.

Michael FINNEGAN and Jane FARLEY: I'm helping a friend in her search. We're looking for the birthplace in Ireland of Michael and of Jane Farley and her parents (Owen Farley and Frances CORRIGAN ). Michael was born c. 1813 and emigrated to Canada c. 1834. He moved to Brown County in 1872 and died in December of 1885. We have all census and death records. We need something to tell us where these folks were born--emigration records/naturalization records?? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Paul HAFFNER and Minnie (Wilhelmina) RIPKA lived in Wrightstown, Brown County in 1872, and had a son Ansc (Ernest) Haffner. I don't know of any other children or how long they resided there. I know so little about them, but any information would be more than I have right now.

I am looking for information on John Johan ARTS. I know that he was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin (date unknown). He married Carolyn HENNEKENS in 1883 in Grafton, Wisconsin. They moved to Chippewa county and had five children: Louie; Louise; Wilber Friede (my grandfather) b. October 15, 1891, d. 1968; George b. 1896, d. 1961; and Rene b. 1899. He died in 1899 from an accidental self inflicted gunshot while hunting. (In Chippewa County) I am interested in finding out the birth date, marriage date and death of John Johan ARTS. I am also interested in any information as to who his parents were.

I'm looking for the descentents of Halvor NIELSEN(NELSON)b:1828 in Norway and his wife Gunborg Tomine KNUDSDATTER,B:1836 in Norway. They lived in Ashwaubenon before Halvor was killed in the 1870s. Sometime in the 1880s she moved to Fort Howard and had a grocery store. Their children that I have listed were, Caroline, 1866; Otto, 1868; Anton, 1873; Theodore, 1876; Bertha, 1878. I believe there were older children, but I do not have their names. They had a great uncle named Nils ELLEFSEN, who died in 1917 in Green Bay, he was a sailor.
