ALEXANDER, BALL, COOKSON, KENNEDY, MCGOWANS, MCKEEVER, MYERS, PETERSON, SIMERALS posted by Fred Murphy on Monday, March 17, 1997

Thanks very much for your quick reply. I'll try the link you suggest, since MYERS (plus COOKSON and BALL) is a line I'd like to get into. Mary Hadassah KENNEDY married in 1896, I think, William J. ALEXANDER of Steubenville, and they were my grandparents. They lived at North Fourth Street, at the corner of Logan Place until the High School was built in about 1937, then built a house at Woodlawn and the corner of Roosevelt, on the hill. Caroline married Robert L. PETERSON of Steubenville, and her daughter is Mrs. Clyde Chalfant. My great-grandmother ALEXANDER was a MCKEEVER from Steubenville, and I also have some of those lines which include MCGOWANS and SIMERALS. If you have any suggestions about pursuing the KENNEDY line, I'd be happy to have them.
